Weddings in St Agnes Cornwall can be tricky if you don’t want to use the lovely Rose in Vale Country House, this is because St Agnes is actually a very small place, even by Cornwall standards, there are very limited opportunities, although the nearby Newdowns Farm may also be worth a look. Approaching land owners could be a sensible look forward, there are certainly handfuls of fields over looking impressing scenery and the Atlantic Ocean. There is an airfield just North of St Agnes, before you reach Perranporth near Trevellas on the B3285. Whilst in St Agnes itself there are several B&B’s and self catering accommodation between the town and the beach front. St Agnes also has a parish Church.
St Agnes is located on the north coast of Cornwall between Porthtowan and Perranporth just a few miles off the main A30 through Cornwall near Blackwater. Located in the western part of Cornwall, almost directly North West of the capital of Cornwall, Truro. St Agnes is a small town but a very beautiful one, not completely overrun with tourists in the summer, its on of those more peaceful spots, especially away from the beaches. None the less the beaches are also beautiful and often quieter, especially compared to other nearby towns such as Perrnanporth, Hayle or St Ives. With noting is the St Agnes website which can be found at http://www.st-agnes.com which holds some useful information about the local area, business and beauty spots.
Of note: St Agnes was the headquarters for the Cornish radio station Atlantic FM before being taken over my Heart in 2012.
