Weddings in Lostwithiel Cornwall can occur at several venues including the Boconnoc House & Estate on the outskirts between Liskeard and also the Lostwithiel Hotel & Golf and Country Club, again a little outside the main town. The reasoning for not mentioning a venue in the centre of Lostwithiel is because of the industrial nature of the town and although you will find a couple churches, such as St Bartholomew Church, St Saviour’s Church and the Lostwithiel Community Church, as well as several accommodation venues offering civil services in the heart of the town. However it must be noted that wit permission the venue of Boconnoc Estate also has a very small church for a small gathering, although the House and grounds can hold many more.
“This beautiful medieval town which is knee deep in history, is one of the most vibrant and lively communities in the county. Whether you’re here for the day or down on holiday, Lostwithiel is the ideal base to explore breathtaking countryside and discover the unspoilt beaches of south east Cornwall. There’s plenty of accommodation from hotels and pubs to cosy b&bs and self catering cottages.” – Lostwithiel.org.uk
