Wedding Table decorations and other details at weddings. To conclude my three part blog post on the other things to photograph at weddings, today I am going to share some of the wedding details from one wedding earlier in the year. Often things like morning preparations of the groom, candids and details get overlooked at weddings, however I make sure, when time permits all those smaller aspects get photographed, often I don’t blog them, because they aren’t as relevant to anyone else, other than the wedding couple and guests, however today I will share a few of the detail pictures that often get shot at weddings I photograph.
The most obvious details are things like; the wedding rings, flowers, jewellery, make-up used, the make of a car, or the shape of a dress. However other details can include; name places, table decorations, cutlery, presents, signing books/prints and other personal aspects to the couples unique wedding. I use the word unique as often weddings can be the same, its these little personal details and the people that make things different from any another wedding. Often the format remains the same, getting ready, a church, registry or civil service, a wedding breakfast and then dancing of some description. If the culture and religion are the same it tends to be the venue and people along with the personal aspects that make each wedding different, and its photographing these things that make a set of pictures personal.
So here are a small selection of some table decorations, often shot simply, and without to much jazz, so that the pictures can evoke memories of the day in years to come.
