A wedding in St Ives last week reminded me of a wedding back in the summer because of the approach of all the groomsmen playing golf before the wedding. Not a rare occurrence – but something you don’t get see and photograph every week. The venues and days for both weddings were very different, and as I haven’t completed last weeks wedding yet I thought I would share a few pictures from back in August at this wedding morning in middle England.
The ability to have two photographers to cover a wedding is such a resourceful way to go about photographing a wedding, especially in a morning situation like this where by the bridal party are all getting ready at home or in a hotel, whilst the groomsmen play golf, go for a surf, decorate a venue or go to the pub. Logisticaly it means both aspects of the morning can be covered. When given back to the couple in time order, both parties can see what the other was doing – at the same time.
So although it was last weeks, St Ives Cornwall Wedding in December that gave me the idea for this blog, this wedding shown was near Herefordshire back in August, I thought I would share some of my morning pictures with the groomsmen, up to the point of the bride arriving at the service.
Hope you like – BW
