So the summer weather continues, and whilst I would like to sit here all day and share thought after thought, I would also like to get out and enjoy some more of the glorious sunshine! So apologies if this is short. :) Looking back on the weekend it all started, I was down in St Mawes town, around the countryside and had a tip to St Mawes Castle with a couples who’s wedding I am photographing in St Mawes Castle itself in a few weeks time. Although they don’t live locally, it soon came to my knowledge that they knew more about the area than I did, so after having some coffee and a chat about a few things we went off and checked out a few spots around the local area that we could use on the wedding day, and that also happened to make good spots for a few pictures on the day.
Normally with a pre shoot, I meet up with a couple at a location, a beach for example and we spend a little time there, have a chat and take some pics; it was nice in this instance for a change to move around a few locations within a short distance of St Mawes Castle and spend just 5 or 10 minutes at each, then eventually going to the Castle and having a little look around to discuss their wedding plans and for me to make a couple of suggestions. It was also nice to go to the venue to shoot a few frames with them, especially having not photographed a wedding there previously, and if you know the castle, you’ll know its like a maze with dozens of view points! Excited for the possibilities of the wedding pictures I must say. :)
Let me leave you with a few frames from our Engagement Shoot around St Mawes. Hope you like. :)
