A few days back I met up with this couple and their two monsters* (*=stars) at a beach near their home in Cornwall. It was a fairly flat day and had been miserable fairly early on but as the time came for us to head out the rain cleared and the only wet stuff we had to deal with was the sea. – oh, and they defiantly did deal with it :D.
This was my first time at Loe Bar near Helston and Porthleven and its an interesting sheltered spot with menacing sea one side of the beach and peaceful lake on the other. Defiantly a spot I will be heading back to, perhaps on a day when I can actually see the whole of it instead of a dense layer of fog.
Fog is always interesting to work with, and to be honest it has been a while, and whilst it was not too dense when we arrived, it certainly was when we left, but that made for some interesting frames that you couldn’t achieve every day – the first frame above for example – I like the misty feeling in the trees.
Anyway it was great fun spending some time with these guys and I am looking forward to shooting their beachside Cornwall Wedding later next month.
Hope you like – Enjoy! :)
