Weddings in Padstow

Weddings in Padstow, and around the Pastow area include venues such as Treglos and The Metrppole. In Padstow itself a number of churches are available along the main road off the A389 in to the centre of Padstow, a few miles inland is the Pendragon on County House near Wadebridge.

Padstow is located on the North Coast between Tintagel and Newquay and lies slightly inland and thus is sheltered, the Padstow lifeboat section is actually some distance away out near Trevose Head. Access to Padstow is along the A39 atlantic highway that runs along a large potion of the North Coast and from there the 1389 at Whitecross takes you into the town itself. The estuary at Padstow runs inland as far as Wadebridge but the river goes further inland than Bodmin where the Camel Trail ends. Towards the sea and Lower Beach, Padstow offers sea access from its Docks. Parking is a little tricky in the summer months when Padstow becomes a popular tourist destination.

A fishing port with narrow winding streets converging on a picturesque and ancient harbour, the town was once the western outpost of the London & South Western railway, closed in 1967 and now the Camel Trail. The pagan ‘Obby ‘Oss festival is held on May Day to celebrate the coming of summer. There are no beaches in Padstow however a ferry leaves the North Quay, or Lower Beach at low tide to beaches at Rock across the estuary.” – AZ
