Wedding Photography Yeovil ? Well to be exact this wedding was set in the Town of Langport, between Long Sutton and Bowdens, and utilizing the beautiful national trust site of Tintinhull Gardens nearby in Tintinhull. All set less than 10 minutes away from the A303 between Ilminster and Illchester . The wedding couple, Kern & Zoe, and I met several weeks back for the second time, after our initial meeting, and this time met a pre shoot was on the agenda on the North Devon coastline. Pre shoots or engagement shoots as they are sometimes called are a key part of the weddings I photograph, and I strongly suggest it to every couple, I feel it is an essential part of the journey I go on with them in creating wedding photographs that are often natural but always stylized. Kern & Zoe also choose to have a picture from their Engagement Shoot printed and have as a type of guest book for their wedding guests to sign around the edge, an idea growing in popularity at the moment.

The wedding ceremony itself was set outside at the national trust site of Tintinhull Gardens, and it was a WET day! It was probably one of the wettest days of the year in Somerset, the rain was ear piercing loud at times, thunder and lighting throughout the morning, lights flickering in the house the bridal party were getting ready in, although luckily I don’t think the bride noticed that! However their were breaks in the showers, especially later in the day so that everyone could get outside at the reception venue in Langport to watch the evenings fireworks. I think despite the soggy day, that everyone will probably admit had them worried during the morning, once Kern & Zoe met at the service to be married all that went away and a fun, exciting and day full of surprises was had by all – except perhaps my assistant who was left to carry by kit around in the cold and rain for half the day – all in a days work experience though. :)

So here are approximately 50 of our pictures from the day, some to tell the brief story of the day, sprinkled with a few of my favorites.
