Weddings at The Bedford Hotel Tavistock Devon

The Bedford Hotel in Tavistock Devon is probably the largest all in one wedding venue in town, matched only by the Guild Hall for evening receptions. Tavsitock is an interesting spot for weddings because of its close proximity to the moors of Dartmoor. On a nice day, the short drive up on to the moors for a round of golf or some wedding pictures to get away from town life can be appealing. However Tavistock is a large, to an extent an industrial looking town. Although personally I have found the moors and the town a good mix from a photographic point of view. Having done several weddings in Tavistock and a wedding recently at the Bedford Hotel and can say with certainty that Tavistock does present options. The bedford has room for many guests, has a bar, private parking, fairly large reception room and its own small garden towards the back of the property.
