Wedding at Treyarnon Bay and St Merryn

I don’t venture up to the North Coast of Cornwall very much, living on the South Coast and not a surfer (did I just say that :) ), I don’t really find the need too, in fact I think I normally spend more time on the North Coast of Devon than Cornwall. Anyhow the North Coast of Cornwall and more precisely the area of St Merryn and Treyarnon Bay were the locations for this couples wedding day. After the brides family visiting Treyarnon Bay some 50 years ago initially, they have since been coming to the area regularly every since and naturally this felt like the spot for them to tie the knot. :)

After getting ready at the Treglos Hotel, the church service followed at the lovely St Merryn Church, before the reception held on the grounds of the YHA overlooking Treyarnon Bay.

It was a beautiful day for September, not a lot of wind and some sunshine in the morning and early afternoon to enjoy and make good use of.
