The Cornish Wedding | Cornwall Wedding Photographer

In the autumn of last year I was lucky enough to be involved in arguably ‘The Cornish Wedding of The Year’ :) – Words are my own. I am of course talking about the Wedding of Becky & Brendan, the owners and brains behind the ‘fabulous cornish wedding magazine, Wed Mag’. I was second shooting this wedding alongside Andy Green from Harrera Images. Myself and Andy put together a little slideshow style video back in September which you can see here. It was a truly brilliant wedding!

However the reason for this blog in particular was to share the picture below, I recently went back through some of the pics from the wedding, and this frame of my stuck out as a frame which sums up one particular way of thinking that influences my wedding photography style. That way of thinking is to shoot wide in a creative way, as to include more information and tell a bigger story in a single picture. I like this frame because of the two mirrors showing the bride and a bridesmaid, the wall with the notices, which provides you with information as to where and when the picture was taken and then all you need is a well exposed frame. Ok its not the simplest frame but it is a storytelling image that in my opinion isn’t intrusive to the moment. Oh and I love mirrors! :) Hope you like.
