On a winters day in December it was time for the marriage of this lovely couple on the outskirts of Leicester in Leicestershire and Rutland. With a ceremony at Oakham School Chapel in Oakham, Rutland followed by the reception at Halsted House Farm in Titton, Leicestershire. Rutland and the surrounding area is not an area I know very well, only being by second visit to the county, the previous being to photograph a pre wedding shoot at Rutland Water. However it’s a lovely area which I hope to get to explore a little better in the near future.

On the wedding day itself, the sun was out and the clouds hidden, as the beautiful cold weather embraced this pair and their friends and family. In the morning I spent some time with the girls in an awesome lodge which reminded me of a ski chalet before heading to the church for the service and the partying beyond at Halstead House Farm.
