A look forward at 2011

During 2010 I worked closely with Wedding & Fashion Photographer Andy Green of Harrera Images (www.harreraimages.co.uk). In this time I learnt a lot about wedding photography, so much so that this friendship and freelance work will become a much bigger part of my life in August 2011. In August I plan to become an employee of Harrera Images & Purita Picture Agency (www.puritapictureagancy.com) as a photographer, designer, networker and many other business tasks.

Despite this, I will still be continuing my present portrait photography as well as photographing a handful of weddings outside of Harrera Images. Here are a few portrait images from the later part of this year:

Edward, lit with a single Bowens 1000 Esprit light.

Jenna Snowdon, lit the same as above on a 50mm 1.4 wide open.

Alex & Amber shot at 200mm at f/4 on Downderry Beach using the ambient light on the beach.

As for personal projects in 2011, I intend to create a range of images inspired by the idea of Fine Art Portraiture, mainly presented in monochrome, black and white.
