Polhawn Fort Wedding Venue | Saltash Cornwall

Near Saltash, Tideford and Liskeard in Cornwall… “Imagine… having your wedding in one of Cornwall’s most romantic settings, overlooking the sea with a beach below. From a photographic point of view the Fort is very dark internally, especially in the winter months, however light is never often a problem, even though I rarely use flash. Polhawn Fort gives a wedding set of pictures from me a slightly darker feel than normal reflecting the atmosphere in the Fort, which I think is splendid. Externally the gardens, rooftop and very short walk down to the beach provide loads of opportunities for Bride and Groom portraits in my very relaxed and informal style, letting the environment create the opportunities.

I have also been to the Church near to the Fort, only a few minutes up the road if you don’t want to have your ceremony in the slightly smaller rooms often internally at the Fort.

One of, if not my favourite venue that is on my doorstep. Great Cornish Venue!
