Unique Wedding Decoration Ideas | Guest Seating Plan

The topic of this blog post is a bit strange compared to my normal content of my favourite wedding pictures of couples, guests and kids at weddings. Whilst I am very strongly a people photographer and much prefer photographing movement, expressions and freezing time, I do of course also photograph the various details at the weddings I go to, I never spend long doing so, but it normally is one of those tick box jobs that just gets done. The reason this is a little different than normal is because I was sorting through some past weddings recently and came across my details of this wedding in Exeter Castle, Exeter, Devon last year and remember thinking I liked this idea for a seating plan made out of an old style wine rack with tags on. I am not normally one for the little details, I am more about the people, showing them at their best and capturing the moments they remember, but this was the first time I had seen this idea and has been the only time to date.

I am aware of the nature of weddings to think of and produce and therefore show new ideas and impress relatives, friends and ultimately make the wedding your own, that personal touch. I see this all the time with cake top decorations, flags, pictures, table decorations, place names and of course seating plans. I just though this was snazzy, not cheesy and worked as a being a simple part of the wedding that people went to, I mean everyone likes wine, right ? :)
