“We booked Barney after coming across a previous wedding he had photographed in Lake Garda, the photos blew us away due to the natural documented approach, unlike any of the local photographers we had already looked at.

We only met Barney the night before our wedding but felt like we had known him much longer due to the regular contact over email, so the next day on the wedding, it felt as though Barney was a friend rather than just our photographer.

On our wedding day, he was reassuring, professional and almost like our coordinator! He knew more of what was going on than us! Also, Somehow in-between photographing our day, he got to know our guests and build relationships which I think helped to capture even more personalised frames. Every one of our guests commented on how brilliant Barney was…especially our 10 year old nephew who I think wants to be the next Barney Walters!

Malcesine, a town halfway up the east coast of Lake Garda is one of my favourite places on the Italian Lakes and somewhere I have become to know increasing well over the past few years, mostly thanks to my couples like Lauren & Jack. Surrounded by the Dolomites on both sites and just a short drive from both Verona & Milan, it’s not hard to see why it’s an amazing spot to tie the knot.

I remember vividly when Lauren first contacted me about becoming their Malcesine Wedding Photographer, she was so excited to talk about her plans and the photos that it only took a couple of days before things were firmed up and my travel plans were set for destination Lake Garda once again. :)

Lauren & Jack had an incredible day in several spaces in the town of Malcesine, as well a short trip up the hill for food and driving a little outside of town with me for pictures on the lakeside. I would love to be able to do it all over again and hope to see their families at another wedding soon.
