Jen & Matt’s wedding at Polhawn Fort on the Cornish coast was one of those days for us, as Cornwall Wedding Photographers, when you wish you were guests at their wedding – instead of ‘working’. (needless to say we had fun anyhow) Such an incredibly friendly day with so much warmth, both in climate, but in spirit too!
Polhawn Fort and Whitsand Bay were looking their best, a gentle breeze in the air, clear waters and beautiful sunshine for much of the day, pure joy of a summer Cornwall wedding – complete with sailboats on the horizon. Perfect.
With Whitsand Bay on my doorstep for some of the year and a stone’s throw from where I truly call home, it’s a privilege to be involved in weddings at Polhawn Fort. All the fluffy stuff aside, it’s a venue that truly offers so much in terms of photography and backdrops, from the old fort itself to the beautiful lawns, to the backdrops of the sea – oh, and the private beach!! Take me back. :)
