Photographing a wedding at The Orangery at Mount Edgecumbe Estate at Cremyll in Cornwall was an interesting one for me. Its an area I know well and somewhere I have been many times with family and friends, so to look at it in a slightly different light as a wedding venue, yet knowing the place fairly well made an interesting change. – a nice one I might add and a nice treat to be so close to home. :)
The Church service and legal part of the day took place in Calstock near Callington and Tavistock, and after a few pictures nearby by the river we headed off to Mount Edgecumbe for the afternoon and evening celebrations including not least, the chilli stand ! :) (your’ll see what I mean in the pics below). The day was even more enjoyable because I had wedding videographer extraordinaire and great friend with me ( Ben Foster of Foster Filming ) to help document and preserve the day. – It’s always a pleasure working alongside Ben and cool to have someone to bounce ideas around with. – You may even spot him in one of the frames below. :)
The day concluded for me after a rather lovely meal provided by the Orangery staff and the first dance and managing to leave before being forced into trying some Hot Chilli Sauces.
As so often is the case, it was a pleasure to get to know these guys and some of their friends and family and I wish them every happiness for the future. :D
