Later this summer I will be photographing the marriage of this couple that will be getting married at Mount Edgecumbe House & Country Park in the Organery towards the bottom and Devon facing end of the estate. From London, when they were visiting Cornwall last we arranged to meet for a coffee and caught up, had a chat about how their wedding plans were coming along and then also went for a little walk around a very busy Mount Edgecumbe on the day.
However we found a quiet spot in amongst some trees and shot a few frames in the surroundings of their venue ahead of their wedding in a couple months time. As I often say, the pictures are just a bonus to this stage of everything and the best bit is just spending an hour to two together, learning about each other and building a relationship ahead of the wedding. It was cool just to chat about travel, current news, formula one and places we had all visited – simply building a friendship that always works wonders later on. :D
The bonus of the pictures is obviously also great and its lovely to get an email from the bride to be with words like this…
‘…plenty of images we loved and have shared with our friends and family, who are very complimentary about your pictures. One friend said that our “wedding pics might look a bit brilliant based on these lovelies”, we had several comments saying they are beautiful and another described them as stunning before saying “your wedding pictures are going to be GORGEOUS!!!” High praise indeed!’
A few frames from about 20-25 minutes of shooting pictures. Hope you also like. :)
