A couple weeks ago I was in London for a few days and had the chance to catch up with a few of my couples, one of them being this delightful pair on a Sunday evening around the Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral area on the Embankment in central London. It was a lovely evening for light which we caught some of before the sun dropped below the surrounding buildings, yet as such London was rather busy on a bank holiday weekend evening and it was interesting to use the surrounding hustle and bustle for a change, even if you do get asked who your stalking from time to time. :) – its nderstandable when your peering out from behind a bush on a 200mm lens. :D
I really love the opportunity that pre shoots present, a chance to catch up with the couple, install a few ideas and suggestions for the weeks ahead and the wedding, and generally catch up with them both and get to know people more as humans more than a business transaction – something that I was actually speaking to the couple about in a Starbucks before we starting walking about shooting a few frames.
And of course also there is the resulting pictures for the couple to have as almost a bonus!
Hope you like these few.
