What a weekend I had last week, I really had nothing much planned, one of those final weekends off before the wedding season (at least for me) begins. And then I was chatting to a good videographer friend of mine, Ben Foster, if your not familiar with Ben’s work then please check out his website here: London Wedding Videographer. Whilst having a chat with Ben, he let on that he was off to London for a double wedding weekend at what appeared to be some nice venues, so without much more chat, I was signed up to go and shoot some wedding video in London with Ben. This was my first time at shooting some video at a wedding, let alone two in two days, but it was really good to do something different and experiment with a different creative media. They were certainly two fairly long weddings, arriving back in Cornwall on Sunday at 4am, but I for one had a great time working alongside Ben. When the videos are put together, I will share the links here.
The first wedding on the Friday was at Syon Park in the Great Conservatory, which was a stunning venue, as much at night as it was during the day. The second on the Saturday was at The Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge, London, again a super venue, perhaps not beautiful from the outside, but a fabulous hotel with so much potential inside, and it was pulled off superbly by the Hotel, the couple and the organisers at Perrys.
Having no official role at these two wedding was superb that I could just experiment, with some film and video, which I will share soon, but of course I also shot a few digital frames at both weddings, so for now I leave you with these few frames. – Hope you like :)
