French Alps Wedding Photographer-1 Most winters I spend at least a couple weeks around 1500-3000 meters above see level in the French/Swiss Alps to enjoy some skiing with friends and family. This year I decided to extend my normal 1-2 week trip, to spend the whole of January (mins two days back to the UK for a wedding) in the Alps.

Split between the Portes Du Soleil (Morzine) region and The 3 Valley’s (Merribel) ski area – I skied more considentatly than I ever have in the 8 years I have been skiing in the French Alps. It was a great experience to not feel like I ‘had’ to ski everyday, as most skiers would relate too on a 5-7 day holiday.

I didn’t shoot that many pictures as firstly it is awakened to carry equipment around when your trying to put in some turns (or not as it might happen on occasion), and second its a nice time of year when I don’t have to shoot too much and just see with my eyes rather than through a lens.

Anyway a few pics I shot on a variety of my iPhone, Pocket G12 and the odd 35mm frame on a D3s.

Already looking forward to getting the skies out for the 2016 season ! :)
