Even for someone like me who appreciates moments and people a lot more than details and decorations at a wedding, some DIY weddings do impress me with the level of input, effort and creativity that people, often whom are not creative or planners of any kind, put in. What is also really astonishing is how everyone comes together, delegation is implemented and things gradually come together to create a stunning and very unique wedding venue, in this case; a family barn in the cornish countryside near Cardinham and Milpool in Cornwall.
Another great part of weddings that are taken into the couples own hands are the level of individualism and openness and flexibility to do whatever they want with their wedding. No rules, regulations, cut off times, bar closing or health and safety to destroy perfectly good plans. Do what you like, the effort goes in, but it certainly pays off, in my opinion anyway. :)
It was such good fun to be involved in this day, capturing some very fun moments with the girls in the morning, some great music and military traditions throughout the day and just a bunch of really interesting people from all over the globe.
Congratulations to them both and I hope you enjoy this small selection from their wedding in a Cornwall barn.

Lovely work, as ever, Mr Walters! Love the confetti on the ground shot, and well funky dancing images too – fab atmosphere captured!
Cheers Alan. always a must with the confetti when there is so much. and the dancing was rather good on their homemade dance floor. :)
