Rachel + Tommy – London, UK

In the summer of 2017, Rachel and Tommy were married at Hampton Court House on the outskirts of West London. The day began on top of Richmond overlooking the surrounding parks at Richmond Hill Hotel where the ladies prepared for the day ahead. Rachel and her bridesmaids prepared a lot of the smaller details for the afternoon celebrations themselves from inside their preparation hotel room. Before then having the details ferried across to the venue at Hampton Court House in an uber.

Meanwhile at HCH (Hampton Court House), Tommy and his groomsmen prepared some of the personal details around the house and reception rooms which would be enjoyed later that afternoon after their celebrations in the entrance room of HCH upstairs.

Despite some rain showers throughout the morning, the afternoon turned out to be very pleasant with some light cloud and a gentle breeze so that everyone could use the outdoor gardens at HCH. After the ceremony, guests could enjoy some fresh Oysters from The Oyster Meister, followed by a sack race for entertainment with the victims being Tommy alongside his groomsmen.

As you’ll see throughout the images below, why I published this wedding was the over arching fun elements throughout the day that really built their wedding into a celebration, and that’s what it’s all about, right? :)

I love this pair! Their positive, uplifting and constantly moving attitude towards life is inspiring. A joy to be around under ever sense of the word. As I expected since their pre shoot which we did in Cornwall (Cornwall Wedding Engagement Shoot), their day was full of love, laughter and tears of happiness. It was an extremely pleasure to be involved in and other than a few logistical issues with London traffic and a few rain showers, it was without a doubt an awesome day.

The wedding took place over a number of locations including their home in Islington, a hairdressers and hotel nearby, the church of St James in Clerkenwell Green and then their reception and evening at the impressive Hampton Court House near Hampton Court Palace.

It was really hard for me to get the picture numbers down for this blog, so here are exactly 100 frames from their day, about 15% of the final pictures the couple will receive.
