The New Forest area has been an area I have been longing to go back and visit since photographing my first ever New Forest Wedding earlier in the year. This time I was right in the heart of the New Forest Hampshire area at the hotel and Wedding Venue of Rhinefield House hotel.

Word of month is a strange thing, and it actually took me and this couple several weeks to work out who and how they found me / heard about me from a friend. As it turns out its fairly complex but the key people to thank for making this happen are a chap called Phil (whom I was very happy to finally meet at this wedding) and a past bride of mine Louise, – so thanks to you both guys !

I loved this pair, keen to just go with it and after some scary moments in the 48hrs leading up to the day about the weather, all turned out very well indeed ! Hope you had an awesome honeymoon guys – and to everyone – Enjoy! :)

This was the first time I have photographed a wedding in the New Forest area, and I have to say, I love the area and can’t wait to shoot nearby again later in the year when I have another New Forest based wedding. Suddenly two come along at once!

Anyway on this particular day, the wedding ceremony took place at a Church nearby the brides family home where the reception took place afterwards. As a photographer when your being told about a place, especially if its a family home or land, your told about it from a sentimental perspective so never 100% sure about what it will be like and what ideas you will come up with. However when I went to see the place 48hrs before the wedding – I was blown away. Something out of a festival scene. (not that I speak from any festival experience) Yet it certainly had that look and later in the day it defiantly had the chilled, party vibe.
