On the weekend of our so called ‘Indian Summer’, the 1st of October, it was time for the wedding of Sarah & James at Morval Church and then reception at Barclay House, near Looe, Cornwall. The long day of relentless glorious sunshine could not have gone down better with the bride, a little to hot and harsh for my liking, but who am I to complain. After the bombshell weather I experienced with Sarah & James on their pre-shoot, they certainly deserved it.
As well as using Barclay House as the destination for their wedding reception, the morning bridal preparations also took place at the House overlooking Looe. I spent the majority of the morning with an emotional Sarah before heading off to Morval to get a few pictures of the Groom and Bestman before her arrival. All in all the day ran without incident and the ‘posed’ pictures here of Sarah & James were taken at intervals though out the day that were convenient and made best use of time, most of which were pre-arranged 48hrs before on a dry walk of the day.
It is my understanding that Sarah, James and all their friends and family had a great day and evening at Barclay House and I wish them all the best for the future.
Here are a small selection of around 500 pictures that the couple will receive.

Smashing photos Barney, some lovely intimate moments in there. Barclay House is a great place to hold a reception and I think they even arrange wedding ceremonies on Looe Island! If any of your readers are interested to see more information about Looe i.e. planning or thinking about a reception venue, then there are loads of photos etc on my Looe website called http://www.ilovelooe.co.uk. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Chris.
