After meeting with this pair a few times in and around their home city of London, it was soon time to jump on a plane and head to their wedding in Denmark near and between Billund and Holstebro to photograph their wedding activities with friends and family from all across Europe; including family from Germany & Switzerland and a fun bunch of loyal friends from the UK. Simply put; I had a great time. :) The great thing about this sort of wedding ‘a destination wedding’ is that everyone is around for a few days, and many for even longer, meaning that by the time the wedding day begins, everyone is well acquainted with each other and likewise everyone has seen me around for the previous day or two and the wedding is a lot more relaxed for everyone involved. When people can think of their wedding as a gathering and an excuse for a good social meet up followed by a party then you’ll just see me smile. So was the case with this wedding, lots of fun, lots of moments, trips to the beach, running down sand dunes, eating off oversized BBQ’s, walking around vast open spaces and taking trips to Legoland for some! :)
It was truly such a pleasure to be involved with this event in their lives and the lives of their family, I was welcomed with open arms and despite several language barriers with some of the guests, I had some meaningful chats with several people – amongst documenting the events of course!
For anyone that hasn’t been to Denmark I would throughly recommend it, its the kind of place you go to write a book – enough said. (the west coast of what I have seen anyway).
I wanted to get this blog up so the couple could have a teaser and their friends and family have a little look. I decided for this wedding to display the pictures here out of order, just a selection and mix up of some of my favourites from the two main days of shooting and the events of the wedding.
Reducing two full days of pictures down to my normal 50-60 picture blog length, simply wasn’t possible, so here are 110. Hope you like.

Once again Catherine; it was amazing from my point of view to spend the time with you both and all your family and friends, it was such a delight and will remember for some time. :)
Cracking set dude: so many faves, but think 7th from bottom pips it for me. Fab.
